On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Bowers & Wilkins, the China premiere of the Bowers & Wilkins 802 D5—the brand’s 60th-anniversary tribute model—was held at Haosheng Music Lounge in Nanning, Guangxi. DARACK Jinzun, the high-end Hi-Fi rack brand under Qingdao Aiska Audio, served as the vibration-isolation platform for the demonstration system and was used throughout this flagship audio appreciation event.
The listening system was built around the Bowers & Wilkins flagship 802 D5 to form a reference-grade luxury Hi-Fi combination: Bowers & Wilkins 802 D5 loudspeakers, with a Marantz SACD 10 as the source, driven by a Classé Audio Delta PRE preamplifier and Delta MONO monoblock power amplifiers. All front-end components were mounted on a DARACK Jinzun Gemini Series Hi-Fi rack.
The rack was developed by a professional dynamics team from Beihang University and incorporates nonlinear energy sink (NES) vibration-isolation technology. Its acoustic tuning boards feature built-in high-damping structures that efficiently capture and absorb mechanical vibration and convert vibrational energy into heat for dissipation, reducing resonance interference with signals. This creates a stable, clean operating foundation for the source and pre/power amplifiers, allowing the flagship components to fully realize their sonic potential.
The DARACK Jinzun Gemini Series Hi-Fi rack uses composite laminated vibration-damping acoustic tuning boards, formed by laminating five materials of different densities (1.2–3.8 g/cm³). A 1 mm rubber damping layer is added between layers to specifically suppress mechanical resonance in the 420 Hz–5000 Hz range. It also employs a multi-point rigid coupling system; each platform layer is equipped with eight aluminum-magnesium alloy hard-connection nodes, fastened with M8 anti-loosening Torx threaded fasteners. Through composite lamination and multi-material integration, the rack is no longer merely a support for equipment, but a precision acoustic platform for active vibration control, providing audio equipment with an acoustic sanctuary free from vibration interference.
For DARACK Jinzun, participating in the China premiere of the Bowers & Wilkins 60th Anniversary flagship 802 D5 was both a valuable opportunity to prove itself alongside a benchmark system and a mutual resonance of acoustic philosophies. At the event, a high-end, domestically developed Hi-Fi vibration-isolation rack worked in concert with world-class audio equipment. The complete system delivered stable, transparent, and nuanced sound reproduction. Audiophiles in attendance were able to experience the musical appeal of the flagship loudspeakers immersively and to directly appreciate the value of a high-end vibration-isolation architecture in a high-end Hi-Fi system. Looking ahead, the DARACK Jinzun Gemini Series will continue to appear in more high-end audio demonstration settings, joining forces with top-tier audio equipment to bring a purer and more lifelike musical experience to a broad community of music lovers.
